Dannie R. Sutton, Jr. (Dannie) is a 1991 graduate of the University of Richmond School of Law. He completed his undergraduate coursework at the University of Virginia (Bachelor of Economics) in 1988. Dannie began his legal career in 1991 after being admitted to the Virginia State Bar. Dannie is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
Since his admission to practice law, Dannie he has built and developed his practice to assist his clients in the fields of criminal defense, domestic relations, personal injury, DUI, traffic offenses, license restoration and expungements. Dannie is a member of the Richmond Bar Association, Henrico County Bar Association, Virginia Bar Association, Virginia State Bar, Richmond Criminal Bar Association and the Virginia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Dannie has practiced law in all levels of State and Federal Court, including the General District Court, Circuit Court, Court of Appeals of Virginia, Supreme Court of Virginia, United States District Court, 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and has filed for writ of certiorari in the United States Supreme Court.
Outside of his legal work, Dannie enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his children’s sports teams, boating, fishing, playing racquetball and reading.
